OUR MISSION
The Association is a non-profit community group with cultural aims which include:
To promote, spread and preserve the Latin American ancestral languages such as Quechua, Aimara, Mapuche, Nahual, Guaraní, Chibchas and Aguajun and others.
To assist and help with the literacy of native communities.
To act as a point of reference and support network for cultural integration of those who speak a native ancestral language.
To provide signposting with regard to employment rights, immigration and nationality
To provide international solidarity & aid to native community members in need.
OUR VALUES
Our values are the ancestral Andean values of Ama Llulla (Don’t Lie), Ama quella (Don’t steal) and Ama Swua (Don’t be lazy), alongside:
- Ayni – Reciprocal assistance
- Minka – Community help
- Munayki – Advancing together in spite of being different
- Sumaq kawsay – The good life in harmony with nature
- Pachamama – Respecting Nature.
We collaborate with all the organisations that spread ancestral languages in Peru and in the world. We establish bridges and alliances with public and private organisations that spread and defend ancestral languages and cultures.
We have values of plural and multicultural inclusion.
We collaborate with all private and public organisations that disseminate and defend the ancestral indigenous cultures of the Americas.
